Things We Consider Before The Trip

Registration: Registration for Kedarnath and Badrinath temples is mandatory for all devotees travelling to these sacred shrines for safety purposes and better crowd management. Our team will make sure to register each of the devotees availing our services for a smooth travel experience.

Best Time To Visit: The temple remains open just for six months in a year, from late April or early May to late October or early November. The best time for you will totally depend on your group composition.

If you are travelling with elderly people or children, then May and June are the best times. Youngsters and those who want to experience the adventure, then late October or early November is the best time.

The group consists of females and kids aged 10, so October is the best time as the crowd will be comparatively less and the weather will be pleasant.

Do Dham Yatra Difficulty level: In this package, we are going to cover about 1200 Kms in a time span of 5 Days. Roads will be bumpy and curly. In addition to this, this trip also includes a trek from Gaurikund to the Kedarnath temple, which is 16 kms for a one-way journey.

On the basis of this matrix, we rate it as a moderately difficult trip. So, preparing for this trip well in advance can give you a cutting edge.

Dressing in Layers: Pack heavy woollens, thermal wear, and Rain gear as the weather can change rapidly in the Himalayas.

Physical Preparation: We ensure that pilgrims are focused on their health to prepare themselves for the Kedarnath trek, and start practicing Jogging, brisk walking, and breathing exercises at least 3-4 weeks before your trip.

Is the Do Dham Yatra safe for seniors?

Yes, the Do Dham Yatra is absolutely safe for senior citizens. With the right planning, preparation, and a slow-paced itinerary, elderly pilgrims can completely the journey comfortably.

In our Kedarnath Badrinath Package, we provide personal support for seniors and take care of all essential things, such as family-friendly rooms, medical support during the trek, and assistance with alternatives, Pony/Palki or Helicopter service.
