Why Musafir Resort for the Kedarnath Yatra Package From Haridwar

Yes, it’s the most obvious question most devotees get: Why choose Musafir resort for the Kedarnath yatra package?

First things first, we are local to Uttarakhand, well aware of the topography and climate, and we can easily predict all the challenges well in advance. This helps us to plan a practical trip for you. In addition, there are many factors that help make your dream journey really enjoyable.

These services are designed to make your journey hassle-free and memorable. From comfortable stays within 100 meters of the temple, freshly cooked regional meals with local spices, and 24/7 customer support, to well-trained guides with mountaineering and medical knowledge. We don’t just give a package, but offer a memorable and meaningful journey.

Role of a Guide in Our Package for Kedarnath Temple:-

In most of the cases, you might hear that the Kedarnath yatra can be done without a guide. Routes are well-marked, vehicles are easily available, and eateries are throughout the trekking route, so what is the role of a guide in the Kedarnath yatra?

Yes, this is partially correct also, if you think the guide is just to tell you the routes, help you with the eateries, arrange a vehicle, then definitely you don’t need any guide in the Kedarnath yatra. But if you are travelling with Kids, elderly people, women or are willing to have a peaceful yatra with someone around to tell you everything about the location, then you must book a package with a guide.

Our guides are specialised in mountaineering and trekking. We don’t provide a local guide, but a professional guide with first-aid knowledge. Who determines weather conditions, stays connected with the team through a walkie-talkie, and is especially familiar with the mountains, which helps them navigate in case of an emergency.

All our guides were equipped with a first aid kit containing an oxygen cylinder and an oxygen meter. All these guides have proper training in giving first aid in case of an emergency.

They even guide you before the trek on what to wear, how to walk, what to eat, and make you aware of the pace, suggest tips and tricks, because we believe precautions are better than a cure. All our guides are trained by the National Mountaineering Institute, which makes us more confident in your safety during the trek. And due to this region, every year, thousands of people travelling with their parents or kids prefer Musafir Resort as their travel partner to Kedarnath.

Role of Driver in Our Package:-

After arranging so many trips in the last few years, we have learned very hard that the driver is the key to any successful trip. In our group tour or personalised packages, we only provide experienced local drivers with driving experience of more than 10k Kms in the hilly region.

Most of the drivers are our regular employees. This helps us tackle all road conditions, as they are familiar with the route maps, alternative routes, and shortcuts in case of emergencies. Their expertise in driving skills and local knowledge ensures safety in every situation.

Why is a hotel near the Temple important?

In our package, we provide a hotel near the Kedarnath temple, that too within a range of 100 meters. After walking for more than 22 kms uphill, even a single step feels to be tough. In that situation, if your hotel is far away, you will feel drained and may skip aarti or Darshan. To ensure that you have a proper darshan and can experience the full vibe of the temple, we provide hotels just near the temple.

Kedarnath VIP Darshan is available in our Kedarnath tour package

  • The sparsh darshan (touching the Shivlinga) is permitted from 5:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m.; or, in a heavy crowd, sparsh darshan may get stopped at 10:00 a.m. After which Sringar Darshan resumes from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m
  • VIP Darshan takes place during a special time, from 12:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. it requies to book a special Puja service at the designated counter near the temple.

In our Kedarnath yatra package, we provide only normal darshan, but if you need a VIP Darshan ticket for the Kedarnath temple, then you can inform our customer care executive, or you can book on your own by visiting the Kedarnath Badrinath temple committee website.

Kedarnath Tour Package vs Self-Planned Trip — Which is Better?

beautifully decorated kedarnath temple

Many devotees visit the Kedarnath temple on their own. Routes are well-marked, eateries and medical facilities are all available, so what is the benefit of booking a travel package for the Kedarnath temple? Just check out our blog on the Kedarnath tour package vs self-planning for a better understanding.

How do we tackle taxi scarcity between Gaurikund and Sonprayag?

As I have said earlier, we don’t just arrange bookings, but also provide support during emergencies. One of the major problems is shared taxis at Sonprayag stop during bad weather or late evenings; in this case, our guide has contacts in the local taxi owners, who help us to secure our ride well in advance.

Customisation Options (Kedarnath Private Tour)

We don’t just operate tours, but customise them according to your requirements. We design your personal tour package, aligning with your needs and desired experience.

Kedarnath private tour package allows pilgrims to choose the services, vehicles, stays, meals, destinations, and other amenities according to their needs. We have the local knowledge and connections to execute your desired trip.

In our private package, you can even upgrade tours and add other destinations, such as Triyuginarayan Temple, Chopta-Tungnath Trek, Jageshwar Dham, Badrinath Temple, Panch Kedar, Chakrata, Kartik Swami Temple and many more offbeat and sacred places. This customisation option allows pilgrims to enjoy the tour at its best.

Things We Consider Before The Trip

beautiful view and weather condition around Kedarnath temple

Registration process: A must-know thing before visiting Kedarnath is the registration process. Without the registration letter, no one is permitted beyond major stopovers. So our main aim is always to complete your registration as soon as possible. The day we get your booking, our team will complete your registration as soon as possible.

Best time to visit Kedarnath: We suggest the best time for you according to the desired experience. For families and elderly pilgrims, we suggest May and June; for peaceful darshan and fewer crowds, we suggest September and October. You can contact our customer care executive for a detailed analysis on the best time, or you can also visit our blog on the best time to visit the Kedarnath temple for a complete detailed analysis.

Kedarnath trek difficulty level: The trek to Kedarnath is considered moderate to challenging, involving a steep path, uneven trails, and rough terrain. Our guide prepares you before even starting the trek. He will tell you everything about the routes, pace, difficulties, cures, do’s and don’ts.

Kedarnath yatra for beginners: For first-time visitors planning their Kedarnath yatra with Musafir Resort, we provide a proper diet plan and suggest some exercises.  This will not only boost their endurance and stamina but also give them the confidence to complete their trek without giving up.

Carry warm clothes even in summer: The weather remains cold even in summer due to the high altitude and the mountain region. So carry warm clothes, whether you are visiting in winter or any other season. You should visit our page on things to pack for the Kedarnath yatra for a detailed packing list.

Travel Tips: Experienced Local drivers we provide in our Kedarnath Yatra Package know about the landslides-prone zone and better stop points. They also know about the alternate route and the main market area, which helps to navigate to nearest market in case of emergency.

No other website, person, or company is authorised to provide this ticket on behalf of the service provider. Just read our blog on the Kedarnath helicopter fraud, and you will get to know how pilgrims are being fooled in the name of a Kedarnath helicopter ticket.

Kedarnath Pony/Palki Booking

Wakeup Call:- 3:30 AM Starting Time:- 4:00 AM   Why so early?   Starting our journey can give us a cutting edge on traffic congestion. In addition to that, there are some other benefits also. A few of them are:

  • We can start our trek on time.
  • We can avoid the rush at the registration checking counter and in the taxi line at Sonprayag.
  • The weather will be pleasant.
  • Elderly people can have a rough time trekking and reaching the temple on time.

Where will we have breakfast?   Most of us get this question: where will we have our breakfast if we are going to start our Day 2 journey at 4:00 AM? Correct, having breakfast is not idle and comfortable. So we arranged our breakfast at Gaurikund before starting our trek.   Breakfast Menu

  • Paratha / Maggi / Poha
  • Tea

Why can’t we stay at Sonprayag / Gaurikund? Great question, and most of the devotees have the same question, that why can’t we stay at Gaurikund or Sonprayag instead of Guptkashi. For travelling 30 Kms, we have to start early. Yes, it seems logical, but there are some major reasons why we prefer staying in Guptkashi. Some of them are as follows.

  • Gaurikund and Sonprayag are basically the starting points of the Kedarnath trek. So hotels here are very basic with low service quality and very arrogant hotel owners.
  • Both locations are located on the riverbed, so there is a high possibility of getting hit in case of any flood or earthquake.
  • Every year, 1-2 hotels collapse in this region due to swampy ground and flooding.
  • In the evening, we get two-way traffic while travelling from Guptkashi to Sonprayag, while in the morning, we only get one-way traffic. So it takes less time in the morning in comparison to the evening.

What is the difference between Sparsha Darshan and Shringar Darshan? In Sprarsha Darshan, we were allowed to enter the Garbha Griha of the temple and touch the Shivlinga. This is allowed only from 5:00 AM to 10:00 AM. While Shringar Darshan is a kind of darshan in which you can’t touch the shivlinga and can have darshan from the outer hall. It is open from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM.   Trekking Route:-   We are going to follow the same route to trek back to Gaurikund and then take a taxi to reach Sonprayag, where our vehicle will be waiting for you to take you back to Musafir Resort at Guptkashi for a comfortable stay after a tiring trek.   Tip:- While trekking down, go slowly as you are going to put lots of pressure on your knees.

Day 4:- Gutkashi to Rishikesh and River Rafting (180 Kms + 12 Kms rafting)
