Devprayag: Located around 95 km from Haridwar or 70 km from Rishikesh, Devprayag is a serene and sacred site in Uttarakhand’s Garhwal region. Here, we take a short break to capture the scenic Dev prayag sangam, which meet to form the Holy Ganga River.
Dhari Devi Temple: Next, we visit the Dhari Devi Temple of Maa Kali for 30-40 minutes for a peaceful darshan, 45 km from Devprayag. It is one of the 108 Shakti Peeths, known as the Guardian deity of the Char Dham. It requires walking (500-800 meters) on a cement pathway from the main highway.
Rudraprayag: The third sightseeing place, around 19-20 km from Dhari Devi, Rudra prayag Sangam is one of the revered Panch Prayag in Uttarakhand. It is known for its peaceful surroundings and scenic confluence of the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers.
Gaurikund: A prominent base point for the Kedarnath trek, Gaurikund is a small town famous for its Gauri Devi temple and Gaurikund Hot Water Spring. Bhim Shila: A massive boulder, located just behind the main temple. It holds great importance as the divine protector of the Kedarnath shrine, who saved the shrine from several destructions during the Kedarnath flood. We also visit Bhim Shila after the Kedarnath Darshan.
Retas Kund: After Darshan, we visit this small pond in the Kedarnath temple area, famous for its divine mystery. When devotees chant “Om Namah Shivaaye” near it, the water of the holy kund starts bubbling.
Bhairavnath temple: An open-air shrine dedicated to Bhukund Bhairav (protector of Kedarnath and Kedar Valley). Located just 800 meters uphill from the Kedarnath temple. We cover this site after visiting Kedarnath, as it is said that the yatra remains incomplete without visiting here. Bhariav Nath Temple at Kedarnath is also known for the panoramic 360-degree view of Kedar Valley.
Adi Shankaracharya Samadhi: A memorial site of sage Adi Shankaracharya, believed to have established the Kedarnath shrine in the 8th century. It is covered on the day of Kedarnath Darshan in your package itinerary.

For a safe and hassle-free journey, Packing is another important consideration. Here is a quick checklist for essential things to carry for Kedarnath Yatra:
Your divine journey to the Kedarnath temple from Hyderabad starts with a train journey. We assist you with a train ticket to Delhi in a 3rd AC Coach for the Rajdhani Exp (22691), as there is no direct train from Hyderabad to Haridwar.
The train will depart from Secunderabad Junction in Hyderabad at 7:10 AM and will drop you at Nizamuddin Railway Station in Delhi at 5:30 AM. During your long train journey of around 22-23 hours, you will pass through different landscapes of India, from the Southern state to the Northern state.
Note: If you want a more convenient and faster travel option, you can also opt for flight tickets for Delhi/Dehradun, at an additional cost.
After reaching Delhi, we will provide you with a hotel stay. Please reach the designated hotel from the railway station at your own cost. You will get your breakfast in your hotel room, and after breakfast, rest in your room.
In the late evening, if you prefer, we can book your Volvo bus ticket from ISBT Kashmere Gate (Delhi) to Haridwar around 10:00/11:00 PM. Have dinner at the hotel and reach the ISBT Kashmere Gate at your convenience.
We advise travellers to reach the pickup location before the departure time. After the overnight road journey from Delhi to Haridwar, the bus will drop you off in Haridwar around 5:00 AM.
After reaching Haridwar railway station, you need to reach the allotted hotel location at your convenience. After reaching, check into your hotel room and relax there.
You will get your breakfast in your room. Have your breakfast and take a rest for some time. After that, you can explore some nearby places in Haridwar and attend the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri Ghat on your own.
In the evening, return to your hotel and have your dinner. Get a good sleep, as tomorrow you will travel around 200 km on a mountain road.
On day 4 of your trip, start early. After breakfast in the hotel room, check out and reach the Haridwar Railway Station at your convenience. A tempo-traveller will pick you up from there around 6:00 AM.
Today, we are going to cover over 200 km from Haridwar to Guptkashi, passing through scenic Himalayan towns. We will also be covering some en route sightseeing.
Our very first sightseeing will be Devprayag, which is around 95 km from Haridwar. It is well-known for its scenic Devprayag Sangam, part of the Panch Prayags. We halt here for 10-15 minutes to witness the beautiful confluence of the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers.
Then we proceed towards Dhari Devi, our second sightseeing. Located around 45 km from Devprayag near Srinagar. Here we take a break of around 30-40 minutes to get a peaceful Darshan at this divine temple, renowned as the Guardian deity of Uttarakhand.
After getting Darshan here, we continue forward to Rudraprayag, where we cover the divine, scenic confluence of the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers. We take a short tea break here for 10-15 minutes and enjoy the surroundings.
Then, we will continue our journey towards our stay in Guptkashi, which requires covering around 48 hours to reach. We will reach the Musafir resort in Guptkashi by evening, where our ground team will greet you and allot your rooms.
After checking into your rooms, take a rest and freshen up. In the late evening, attend a briefing session organized by our tour guide. He will explain the next day's trip plan and will brief you on trekking tips and tricks.
After the briefing session, you will get dinner at the resort, fresh meals cooked with local spices. After dinner, if the weather permits, we will set up a bonfire with music under a starry sky.
Then, go back to your room and get a good sleep, as tomorrow you need to embark on a trek to reach your main destination (Kedarnath temple).
Today, we will start early from Guptkashi, around 3:00 AM to 4:00 AM, as needed. We request our guests to cooperate with the scheduled timing.
Firstly, we will reach Sonprayag, around 27 km from Guptkashi. From Sonprayag, we need to transfer to a government shuttle taxi for the last 5 km stretch to reach Gaurikund (the official base for the Kedarnath trek).
Our guide will arrange the taxi, and its cost is included in your package. After reaching Gaurikund, you can visit the natural hot spring and the Gauri Devi Temple, then our guide will take the group to local eateries for breakfast.
After breakfast, we will head on an uphill trek to Kedarnath Temple. The trek will take around 6-8 hours to complete. Trek is moderately difficult. If someone feels unable to complete the trek, they can inform our guide, who will assist them in booking the pony/palki services at their own cost.
We aim to complete the trek by evening, as trekking after sunset is prohibited. That’s why we start early. After reaching the Kedarnath temple, our guide will take you to the hotel in Kedarnath (within 100 meters).
Check into your hotel room and take some rest. If you reach timely, you can join the Darshan line in the evening. You can get the Shringar Darshan of Lord Kedarnath during the evening Aarti.
After darshan, get back to your hotel. Enjoy your dinner in your hotel room and sleep peacefully.
The next day, wake early and get ready to experience the moment that you've been dreaming of. Our guide will make a wake-up call at 3:00 AM, so get ready and join the Darshan line.
Kedarnath Kapat will open at 4:00 AM for Darshan. You may get Sparsh Darshan of Kedarnath Shivlinga by 7:00 AM.
After Kedarnath darshan, we will visit the nearby places, such as Bhim Shila, Retas Kund, Adi Shankaracharya samadhi, and Bhairavnath (800 meters above Kedarnath).
After covering the sightseeing, we will get back to the hotel. You will get your breakfast here, after breakfast, check out of your hotel, and be ready for a decent journey.
Trek down to Gaurikund, which is comparatively easy. Then we will go back to Sonprayag by shared taxi, arranged by the guide, and the vehicle will be parked there.
From there, we will reach the Musafir Resort in Guptkashi. Check in to your room and freshen up. Take some rest to reduce travel fatigue. You will get your dinner in your rooms. Enjoy the comforting meal, then get a good sleep.
On Day 7, wake up early and be ready for your return journey. After breakfast at Musafir Resort, check out of your rooms. We will depart from Guptkashi at 7:00 AM/8:00 AM for the return journey of 179 km to Rishikesh.
You will pass through scenic routes and have a chance to enjoy lush green mountain peaks. On this route, we will reach Rishikesh by noon, where we provide a complimentary river rafting of 12 km from Brahmapuri to Rishikesh Tapovan, an adventurous experience.
From Rishikesh Tapovan, reach the designated hotel in Rishikesh at your own convenience. After reaching the hotel, check into your room and get some rest.
You will have dinner in your room, enjoy the dinner, and sleep peacefully in your room.
In the early morning, have breakfast, then check out of your hotel and reach the pickup location, Nepali Farm in Rishikesh, at your own convenience. From there, a Volvo bus will pick you up for your return journey to Delhi.
You will reach ISBT Kashmere Gate in Delhi by evening, and from there reach the New Delhi Railway Station on your own. Must reach the station before the departure time. Your train will arrive at 10:10 PM at Delhi Railway Station.
We will provide your train tickets in 3rd AC for the Duranto (12214), from New Delhi Railway Station to Hyderabad Junction. You will reach Hyderabad at 9:00 PM the next day.
Here, your trip will end with the most beautiful memories of Kedarnath.
